The purpose of this form is to allow prospective buyers of our first BHC project house to submit a sealed bid electronically.  

We will review bids on Thursday April 25, 2024.  If the reserve price is met, we will notify the winning bidder on Friday, April 26.

The winning bidder will be notified by phone call with an accompanyting email and we will begin the closing process with First American Title.

When the bids are reviewed on April 25, they will be sorted in a spreadsheet.  The highest bid will be compared to the next highest bid.  The winning bid price, provided it meets our reserve price, will be $1 more than the next highest bid.

Example:  A person bids $200,000.00.  The next highest bid is $175,000.00.  The person who bid $200,000.00 would win the action and pay $175,001.00 for the house.

We have another house that is going to be finished some time in May.  If you do not win the bid for this house, do you want your bid applied to the next house?

Bidders should be prepared to begin the closing process as soon as the auction ends.
Winning bidder is responsible for all site prep, foundation work and relocation of the house from Amundsen Educational Center to its destination.
AEC will insure the home through the completion of the sale.  Once the sale is finalized, insurance becomes the responsibility of the new owner.
The house must leave AEC property before August 1, 2024.
AEC will be available for consulation and may be able to recommend contractors and transportation options to the winning bidder.
